This session will focus on the responsibilities company officers immediately inherit with their promotion. In their role they are responsible for setting the tone at the company level and setting out expectations that achieves our collective mission. Holding members and self accountable is a daily responsibility and one that can challenge our leadership and past practices. We will address where our authority comes from and how to use it, the need to change our perspective, integrity and character centered actions and behaviors and pitfalls that comes with being silent and apathetic.
Learning Objectives:
The student will understand where our formal authority comes from and how to establish daily expectations based on that loyalty and mission.
Understand the importance of perspective and having the ability to change ours in service of our responsibilities and position.
To be able to identify how inaction and apathy leads to a lack of accountability and the impact on company culture.
