Have you ever been on a team where two people could not work with each other and you try to manage around them? You have this awesome vision after pulling your team together of various people that you hope they are passionate, and then all of a sudden your team hits a roadblock. Conflict starts to happen when people think that they are right and the other person is wrong. Your team stalls, becomes disengaged, and members start to undermine each other. So, your team never really becomes the best or reaches your expectations. Communicating openly and honestly at all times is hard. Speaking from a place of vulnerability is very hard. However, you need both in order to be productive as a team.
