All vehicles must have brakes; vehicles that cannot stop on their own will not be permitted in the exhibit hall. Vehicles on display are required to have the level of fuel as mandated by the licensor and the local fire department of the jurisdiction where the event is being held. The exhibitor shall comply with and ensure that its employees and agents comply with all legal requirements imposed by a government body. Special building rules regarding the operation of oil or gasoline/diesel engines must be strictly observed, as must all other special building rules and regulations.

• The ceiling height is 33 ft to lower beam.
• 45 ft to ceiling in Halls A, B and C.
• 45 ft to lower beam and roof in Hall D.

There are no columns near booths in the FRI 2023 Exhibit Hall in the Kansas City Convention Center.

Floor covering is NOT required at FRI* and does not come with booths. Aisle carpets will be Black Pepper (Black/Grey). Primary ‘super aisles’ will be Red. Each 10’ x 10’ or 10’ x 20’ booth will be set with:

• 8’ high back drape: Black
• 3’ high side drape: Red
• 7” x 44” Company ID Sign**

Exception: All Tech Zone booths come with carpeting as part of their package.

*Apparatus/Vehicle Display Only: For exhibitor with an apparatus/vehicle display, you MUST have floor covering INSTALLED PRIOR to moving your vehicle in. View specific floor covering options/specifications.

**Island booths of any size do not include drape of ID Signs.

Under no circumstances may the weight of any equipment or exhibit material exceed the Exposition Facility’s maximum floor load. The Exhibitor accepts full and sole responsibility for any injury or damage to property or person resulting from failure knowingly or otherwise, to distribute the load of its exhibit material in conformity with the maximum floor load specifications. Specs for any equipment that that may be close to this load should be submitted to The Expo Group, please be sure to indicate location of the equipment in your booth and on the overall floorplan.

In-line, Corner, Island, Multi-Story booths are allowed. Details can be found in the Rules & Regulations. End-Cap booths are NOT permitted.
