Any exhibitors that will have an apparatus or vehicle at FRI 2023 must review this information before move-in begins August 13. We will be following a target move-in schedule. Target move-in times will be emailed to exhibitors by The Expo Group about 2 weeks prior to the show. Display Details

You MUST submit a Display Form.
If you need to utilize the wash station complete the Wash Station Request Form.
You MUST have floor covering INSTALLED PRIOR to moving your vehicle in. Floor covering options:

Order carpet or plastic visqueen through The Expo Group (Exhibitor Service Manual)
Utilize your own EAC to install carpet prior to move-in for vehicles
Installing own carpet or plastic visqueen prior to move-in for vehicles

Move-in Schedule:

Sun., Aug. 13	Apparatus/trailers
Mon., Aug. 14	20' x 20' Booths and Larger*	8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Tues., Aug. 15	All Exhibitors	8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

*Target move-in times will be emailed about 2 weeks prior.

Please make sure you fill out the Apparatus/Vehicle Display Form prior to July 11, 2023. Failure to fill out this form may result in delays moving your apparatus or vehicle onto the exhibit hall floor.

Kansas City Guidelines

Automobiles, trucks, boats, tractors, machinery and other motor vehicles utilizing flammable fuels, which are placed on display inside any building, shall have no more than five (5) gallons of fuel, or one-fourth (1/4) of a tank, whichever is less. All fuel tanks shall be locked or effectively sealed, and battery cables shall be disconnected from the ignition system. Ignition keys for vehicles on display shall be kept by a responsible person at the display location for removal of such vehicles from the building in the event of an emergency. Any vehicles requiring battery power for demonstration must use an auxiliary power source.

Wash Station Info

To utilize you must complete the Wash Station Request Form.
Location: Parking Lot at the intersection of Central Street and W 16th Street - South East corner of the Kansas City Convention Center (see map below). 1599 Central Street, Kansas City, MO, 64108

Overnight Parking

If overnight parking is needed, it must be requested in advance. Please contact exhibits@iafc.org.

Convention Center Access

All apparatus/vehicles must enter the Convention Center via the Exhibit Hall South Loading Docks. Access to the docks is located at the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and W 16th Street. A map is provided below. The South Dock entrance is highlighted in Red. The Wash Station and staging lot entrance is highlighted in Blue.
